When I heard that "Midnight Coven" and its predecessor "Blackwater" were going to become part of The Devil's Roses series I wasn't sure what to think. When I originally read "Blackwater" it wasn't part of The Devil's Roses series (or at least TL Brown/Tara Brown hadn't announced that it was). Yes, there were some crossover characters, which I thought was pretty cool, but it stood on its own as a series. However, once I started reading I was sold!! The blending of the story-lines and characters sucked me in and finding out the histories of some of the Roses....made so much make sense that suddenly I was finished with the book. "The Reedemers" can't come soon enough!Product details

I loved this entire series. When I bought this book I had no idea that it was the Devil's Roses and The Blackwater Witches combined so I was pleasantly surprised. I read the book in one day, I couldn't put it down. If you have read either series please do, you don't know what you are missing out on.
The one was really good. I fell in love with Marcus and Lorilei while reading this book. I'm also happy to see the way Lorilei's story ties in to the rest of the series. I kept wondering how that was going to work. Gray Jon as always TL.
As u read u keep thinking how is she going to tie this with the other books and then proof there it is u understand the main characters stories why they wentt the way they did n it shows Dorians side of his story n love it's just amazing how he turns out to b clever way to tie book love her books def recommend to get it and the rest of them read them in order so u can get it great job Tara
I really love this series and I can't wait for "The Redeemers"!! I'm a little disappointed that it's been delayed though. At the end of "Midnight Coven" it said "The Redeemers" would be out in June, but I checked to see what day in June it's due out and now the page for pre-ordering The Redeemers says August 2014! Oh well, it's such a great series and is definitely worth the wait! )
First off if you haven't read Blackwater Witches read it first!!!! Also the devil's roses series is a must but never fear it's worth it! What can I say other than I'm shocked this witch has done a 360 right in front of me I wasn't expecting the out come.. I'm no spoiler just read it along with any other novel she has wrote I have and I'm not ever disappointed I always just want to read more ... So shout out to TL Brown she is a wonderful author and her next book just can't come soon enough!!
If you enjoy paranormal romance books buy any of Tara Brown's books. Just got done reading this one and couldn't put it down. Love how this book ties the Blackwater book into the Devils Roses. To read these in the right order read the devils roses books, then Blackwater and then this one. This books helps you understand Marcus a little more and see him in a different view. Every book seems to give you a new look at a different character. Can't wait to read Redeemers when it comes out.
If you could go back and make things right, would you? Save the people you love. Stop the evil before it can inflict more damage. Fall for the wrong guy...or is he the right guy?
It was so much fun pulling the Blackwater characters further into the Devil's Roses world. I was heart broken at the choices and truths behind some events, but the victory that waited was worth it.
